Privacy Policy
Effective date: February 28, 2026
What data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to run this website and respond to your inquiries:
- Contact form: When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, and message.
- Usage data: We use Umami analytics to understand how visitors use our site (e.g. pages viewed). Umami does not use cookies or collect personal data—see the section below.
How we use your data
Contact form data is used solely to respond to your inquiry and to provide consulting or related services you request. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing. Analytics data helps us improve the site and is aggregated and anonymized.
Umami analytics
This site uses Umami (cloud.umami.is) for analytics. Umami is privacy-friendly and GDPR compliant. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. It collects only anonymized, aggregated usage data (such as page views and referrers) to help us understand how the site is used and improve it. No cookies are set by Umami, and it does not track you across sites. For more information, see Umami's privacy policy.
Contact form data handling
Data you submit via the contact form (name, email, company, phone, message) is processed so we can respond to you and provide the services you request. Form submissions may be handled by our hosting provider and may appear in server logs for a limited time. We retain contact form data only as long as needed to fulfill your request and any follow-up, and in line with legal or professional obligations. We do not use this data for marketing unless you have given separate consent.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or other jurisdictions with similar laws, you have rights regarding your personal data, including:
- Right to access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to deletion: You may request that we delete your personal data, subject to certain exceptions (e.g. where we must retain it for legal reasons).
- Right to rectification, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing.
- Right to withdraw consent where we rely on consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact section below.
Third party services
Aside from Umami (described above), your data may be processed by our hosting and infrastructure providers in order to deliver this website and the contact form. We choose providers that respect privacy and applicable law. We do not share your contact form data with third parties for their own marketing. For Umami's practices, see their privacy policy linked above.
Payment processing: All payments for our services are processed by Calendly (and its integrated payment providers). Francisco González Group INC. does not store payment card data. Cardholder information is handled solely by Calendly and its payment processors in accordance with their privacy and security policies.
International data transfers
Our site and services may be accessed from the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean (LATAM), Spain, the European Economic Area, and other countries. Data you submit (e.g. via the contact form or when booking through Calendly) may be transferred to, stored, or processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. If you are in the EEA, UK, LATAM, Spain, or another jurisdiction with restrictions on international transfers, we rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful mechanisms to help ensure an adequate level of protection for your data. By using this site or our services, you consent to such transfer to the extent required by applicable law.
Marketing communications and opt-out
We do not send promotional emails or marketing communications unless you have given explicit consent (e.g. by opting in). If you receive marketing from us, you may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message, replying with a request to unsubscribe, or contacting us via the contact form. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional or service-related communications (e.g. confirmations or replies to your inquiries).
Data security and SSL encryption
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. Our website is served over SSL/TLS (HTTPS), so data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit. We do not guarantee that transmission over the internet is completely secure; you provide information at your own risk to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when we make material changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
